Moana Roa Lagoon Cruises

Experience the beauty of Muri Lagoon aboard the Moana Roa, Pacific Resort Rarotonga’s spacious glass bottom boat cruiser. Our cruise takes you to the Muri Lagoon marine conservation site with impressive giant clam and stonefish enclosures, and snorkel amongst tropical fish in the coral gardens. Guests are free to swim and snorkel, or just enjoy the view in comfort aboard the boat.

Pacific Resort – your Rarotonga hotel accommodation - is the only resort on the island to offer its own boat cruise.

Cruise options include:

Breakfast Cruise ($15 per person - House Guest or $30 per person non-House Guest)
Enjoy the morning tranquillity of the lagoon and have your tropical breakfast aboard our 9 metre Glass Bottom Cruiser Moana Roa. Reserve your seat the night before with reception or the restaurant.

Snorkelling Cruise ($50 per adult - $30 children 5 to 12 years - Children under 5 free)
Join the Beach Hut boys and perience the beauty of Muri and Titikaveka Lagoon in the comfort of Moana Roa. Explore the fish and coral life in our Raui or protected Marine Park. View coral, feed the fish, and snorkel off the boat.

Luncheon Cruise ($70 per adult - $45 children 5 to 12 years - Children under 5 free)
After returning from the Snorkelling cruise, the luncheon cruise continues over at Koromiri Motu (island). You explore the Motu and the team will prepare lunch on board with BBQ’d seafood, marinated steak and chicken, salads, breads, fresh fruits and refreshments.

Sunset Lagoon Cruises ($20 per person)
Join the Beach Hut boys on a cruise in our glass bottom boat to Titikaveka marine reserve to sit and watch the sun go down. The cruise includes complimentary canapés, a ukulele serenade, fish feeding and beverages are available for purchase onboard and operates monthly depending on weather and the alignment of the tides and sunset. Cruise dates and bookings are available at the Beach Hut.

Lagoon cruises operate every day except Sunday.
